Specializing in both surgical and nonsurgical treatments of a variety of foot and ankle conditions, Vito La Puma, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric physician providing care at PARK AVENUE MEDICINE & SURGERY. With over 1,400 surgical procedures under his belt, Dr. La Puma is committed to helping each patient reach their optimal health.

Dr. La Puma graduated from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, where he was premed and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. La Puma received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He received extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery during his residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Dr. La Puma has also received training in orthopedics and vascular surgery and is currently the acting attending for the podiatric surgical residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. In addition to providing patient care, Dr. La Puma is also an active member of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as the New York State Podiatric Medicine Association.
